Area of competence

The East European Advice Centre provides advice and support in the fields of homelessness, welfare rights, employment, housing, health, debt management, financial inclusion, social and economic deprivation.

We offer a full range services with the overall aim of preventing the worsening of the client’s circumstance and to enable self-sufficiency. We do so by diagnosing the problem, explaining options, giving advice and offering practical support. We identify and discuss further action the client can take. We sign-post to other agencies where relevant.

We provide information and advice in the areas of:

• Debt Management
• Education
• Employment Law
• Health

Our advice is free and strictly confidential.

We also provide extensive interpreting and translation services for a range of stakeholders, including hospitals, schools, police, etc. Where relevant, we mediate between our clients and respective parties.

We work in English, Polish and Russian.
